The Fab 60s in Hovingham

The Beat Club brings the Fab 60s to Hovingham

An exciting LIVE show that recaptures The Cavern Club’s magical, merseybeat years in the 1960s. You’ll hear songs that were hits for The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Searchers, Drifters, Kinks…to name just a few from a list of iconic names. The FAB ‘60s (fronted by ‘scouser’ Steve Quillon) has appeared at theatres throughout theUKand you’re guaranteed to sing, scream, laugh and cheer! There is a Licensed Bar from 7pm till 11pm’ish.

Tickets are £10 in advance (available from The Malt Shovel and also The Village Hall in Hovingham) or £12 on the night. Online booking is also available (no booking fee) on www.thefab60s.ticketsource.co.uk

These rides, are open to all, are based on the Sustrans routes in the Howardian Hills leaflet produced by Yorkshire Outdoors (www.yorkshire.com ). Lycra definitely is not compulsory but we would ask riders to wear a cycling helmet, carry a drink, a snack and a waterproof.  Not that any of us expect it to rain this summer.  Your cycle should be in a safe and road worthy condition.  Under sixteen?  Please bring a responsible adult to look after!
