Policing in Ryedale – Get answers to your local policing questions

Every month I hold a public accountability meeting with North Yorkshire Police to scrutinise their performance and give the public the chance to understand more about the work of their police force.

Each of these meetings is webcast live and I invite people to get involved by asking questions that are important to them so they can hear directly back from senior police officers, including the Chief Constable.

The next meeting is on Tuesday 27 February and will focus on how the police are meeting local policing priorities.

Unfortunately it is not possible for people to attend the meeting but you are able to get involved by watching the live webcast on my website, details below.

To watch the LIVE webcast, read the agenda and discover other topics that will be discussed on Tuesday please visit:

Thank you very much

Helpers For Mayday

May Day 2017 (photo Colin Douthwaite)

Calling all Slingsby residents – we are looking for helpers for Mayday, May 7th 2018 – an hour of your time would be fantastic and then you will be free to wander round all that will be going on, on the green, in the village hall and all around the village.

Time spent selling raffle tickets on the day, time spent helping in the village hall with performers’ teas, time spent helping on the food stall; or even on the children’s activity stand would be greatly appreciated and valued. Please ring Pat on 01653 628620
