Missing Cat, Slingsby

“Knox” the cat, who ought to live at 21 Sycamore Close, went missing three days ago. He is completely black and has a small nick out of his left ear. He is microchipped.

Richard Shephard Music Foundation’s Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023

The Richard Shephard Music Foundation are taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023, meaning your donation will be doubled FOR FREE, making twice the impact this Christmas!

This year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge will help raise funds for the campaign to bring weekly music to 10,000 children across Yorkshire and the North-East by 2026. Slingsby Community Primary School
 is one of the Foundation’s partners.
The campaign will run until 10am on Tuesday 5th December 2023 and will see children from primary schools and choirs taking to high streets and venues in our region to spread some early Christmas cheer and show us all how their weekly music lessons are helping to improve their musical skills, confidence, and wellbeing.

About the Foundation
The Foundation was established to continue the work of Dr Richard Shephard who died in February 2021. As composer, conductor, teacher, performer and administrator, Richard contributed a great deal to the musical life of Yorkshire.
