Local History Group meeting on Tuesday 18th April at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall committee room.
This is a working meeting about future projects, also to look at information about John Close (three times Lord Mayor of York and commemorated in the Church) and about Robert Johnson, the architect who rebuilt the Church in the 19th century.
Anyone interested in joining the LHG is welcome to come
(Future events include a guided tour of the Church on Saturday 6th May and a village walk to examine local flora on Saturday 3rd June, both events led by experts.)
