Saturday 19th November 2016 from 10am to 11 am. Leaf clear at All Saints’ Church Slingsby. Please will you help?

The magnificent sycamore tree at the Lawns corner of All Saints’ Churchyard (pictured) is much admired. Stand near it in spring or early summer and listen to the many birds and insects. Come late October, along with other large trees surrounding the churchyard, it drops huge volumes of leaves, particularly onto the paths where they become slippery.

Please could you spare an hour to help clear them in time for the last brown bin collection of the year? Refreshments will be provided. Please bring a sweeping brush!
