Photo of the Month: August 2013

Sunlight-over-the-lawns

Late summer sunlight shines over the Lawns at Slingsby | Photographs by Richard Flint

The sunshine was coming and going today, thanks to a number of large clouds that had the habit of getting in the way of the sun.

There are actually two versions of this photo. the first has the Lawns lit up with sunlight but the field and tramlines seen in the foreground are in shadow. This second photo occurred just a second or two later when the light had washed across the field.

Do you have a great photograph you’d like to share with us?
