Hovingham Village Market has been cancelled until further notice due to Coronavirus.
A message on the market’s website says
The Hovingham village market have cancelled the Market scheduled for 4th April and subsequent Markets until further notice. This is very unfortunate for the many volunteers, visitors, stallholders and the community as a whole, however, their safety must come first and we must do anything we can to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
We realise that this will be a great disappointment to many so will encourage everyone to visit the market website (www.hovingham-market.org.uk) for the latest news and find out what various stallholders are offering to customers during this crisis.
We thanks everyone for their support and well wishes, we will do our very best to re-open the Market as soon as guidance indicates it is safe to do so.
