Digital PCSOs are Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who use various social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and forums to engage proactively and build rapport with communities online, including welfare checks, real time conversations and safety awareness advice. Digital PCSOs offer the same services and support people receive on the physical street, on the cyber beat.
