This Sat 15 Sept 2pm in Slingsby village hall. Slingsby Produce Show has a total of 78 classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, home produce, agricultural produce, photography and children’s classes. The competition for the largest pumpkin and marrow is always very popular with giant pumpkins in previous years weighing in at over 130lbs. What effect will this long hot summer have had on our pumpkin growers?
We encourage you to enter and support our local show. Entries open to residents of Slingsby, Fryton, South Holme and all children at Slingsby School. Schedules and entry forms have been circulated round the villages and are available at The Farm Shop.
Closing date for entries is Thursday 13 September at 8pm.
