The Mobile Post Office will not be in the village tomorrow (15th June) due to the vehicle being serviced. All being well it will be back on Friday (16th) as normal.

North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre have been in touch to let us know about a new singing group which started on the 8^th March at The Byre in Hovingham.

“It’s dementia friendly and free and we would love to have lots of new faces come along and join in the fun! The sessions will be facilitated by Alison Davis, our Community Musician and Choir Leader. We start at 10.30am but we are open from 10am for tea, coffee and cake. The group is supported by Dementia Forward and funded by Ryedale District Council. Yorkshire Arboretum will be closed tomorrow due to bad weather, and will reopen when it is safe to do so. We will post updates here when we know more.
