Churchyard Mini Market – Saturday 12th September 2015

All Saints Church Slingsby Churchyard Mini Market on Saturday 12th September 2015 from 10.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Walk or cycle to the Church, enjoy some refreshments, check out the various stalls and see the exhibition of the plans for church building improvements.

Income from this event will contribute to the proposed hearing loop and heating upgrade for All Saints Church

If you are unable, or too far away, to “ride or stride”, do come – it is always possible to park in the village

This event coincides with Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust Open Churches Day( see www.yhct.org.uk),  who sponsored out recent tower restoration project

Donations of fresh produce, cakes, and sweets for the children’s tombola would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the Church from 10.00 a.m.

Monday 7th September 2015 at 7pm -meeting of Slingsby, South Holme and Fryton Parish Council at Slingsby Village Hall. The agenda is:-

4. To agree and sign the minutes of the meeting held on 20th July 2015.

Slingsby Produce Show – Saturday 12th September 2015

Slingsby Produce and Pumpkin Show at the Village Hall on Saturday 12th September 2015 at 2 p.m.

Entry Forms for the 43rd Show are now available from the Village Shop or from Mrs Trudy Carr at Mowbray Rise, Green Dyke Lane, and must be returned to Trudy before 8 p.m. on Thursday 10th September.

The show is open to the public from 2 p.m. Prize giving is at 3 p.m. There will be a raffle and teas. Admission is free, although donations will be gratefully accepted.

It only costs 10p per entry (many children’s classes are free),so why not have a go?
