194 bus timetable published 26th January 2018

Transdev/Coastliner have just put the 194 bus timetable on their website. The link page to download it is HERE. A reminder that this service runs until Saturday 17th February – we don’t know what happens after that. This will depend on the tenders received by NYCC to run the service.

194 bus temporary timetable 26th Jan. to 19th Feb. 2018

We are told by Coastliner that the 194 bus will run to Stephensons’ timetable except that services 7.25 from Hovingham and 18.20 from Malton will NOT run. This applies from today until the temporary arrangement ends on 19th February, apparently. We’ll post again if an official timetable is published – until then we can’t guarantee the information.

194 bus – Good(ish) News from 26th January 2018

North Yorkshire County Council have announced this afternoon that the 194 bus service will resume from tomorrow, 26th January. Their announcement says it will be on a “slightly amended timetable”, but no details of the timetable changes are given. A link to the NYCC webpage is HERE.

The service, from Coastliner, runs until Saturday 17th February. NYCC hope that operators will tender for the contract so that a permanent service can run from 19th February.

(We’ll post further if and when we get to know the timetable changes)

Stephensons buses not operating from 22nd January 2018

It seems that Stephensons will cease to operate their bus services from tomorrow, 22nd January. We understand that NYCC have put emergency arrangements in place for school buses. Other operators are taking over certain of the commercial routes, but we have no news about our 194 service.
