Urgent Message from Hovingham Neighbourhood Watch
by
•Received today from our neighbours in Hovingham:
HOVINGHAM NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
Please be aware that there have recently been unwanted visitors to gardens and outbuildings in Hovingham and neighbouring areas.
Please be vigilant, note down vehicle details, photograph if possible and report anything suspicious to the Police..
If you have CCTV cameras then please ensure they are working.
Check outbuildings regularly and ensure they are locked and secure. Also check back doors and windows are secure and report any attempts to gain entry.
Please help catch these criminals.
Help Your Neighbours.
Thank You
Phil, Hovingham Neighbourhood Watch

Your Festive Photos wanted
by
•If you have any photos of Christmas lights around Slingsby, Fryton or South Holme, Christmas or New Year events, or anything else suitably festive, we’d be delighted if you could send them in for the village Instagram, so they can be shared with the parish community.
Alas, our Village Instagram man Chris suffered a major camera malfunction in the run-up and so has nothing to show for it – apart from a big bill!
Please send your photos to our Instagram account @slingsbyvillage or, if you prefer, email them to the website at [email protected]
Thank you!
