We start at 11am at Castle Howard car park. A family walk of 3.5 miles. All dogs must be on leads. We walk through the estate and then on public footpaths. Could be muddy so come prepared. A Quiz to raise funds for the Malton Museum, in the Assembly Rooms. It’s not too late to enter your team of 4 – just ring the museum on (01653) 691262 with the name of the team leader. Cost £10 per team. Doors open 7.00 for 7.30 start. Entrance via Yorkersgate. A very enjoyable evening and some excellent prizes

Hovingham Village Market (with local food, rural crafts & community Cafe) will be celebrating its 10th birthday this Saturday (5 October) starting at 10.30am and continuing through to 1.30pm.
