Free property marking and security advice, Malton

PCSO Wynn from Malton safer neighbourhood team will be at Malton library on Saturday 5th January from 10:00 – 11:00 providing security advice and offering free property marking with our Dot Peen machine.

Many children will have received new bikes and scooters for Christmas and this is an effective way of marking these to prove ownership in the event of loss or theft.

NEW: “FOR SALE/WANTED” IN THE TRIANGLE

A local resident has suggested that a for sale/wanted section in the Triangle newsletter would be a useful service for our villages and help to encourage unwanted things to be re-used rather than taken to the skips or left to clutter the house.

The Editors have decided to make space for this and look forward to receiving adverts of this sort. Please keep them brief. This service will be free for residents.

Please send your advert to the usual Triangle address: [email protected] or contact one of the co-editors, Gill on 01653 628479 or David on 01653 627210.  Don’t forget to include your phone number (and/or email address, if you prefer) in the text of your advert. Please also give us your address (which will NOT be published – unless you specifically request it).

You might even want to donate any proceeds of sales to one of our local good causes!

Please note that the copy deadline for the February issue of the Triangle is Saturday 19 January at the very latest, but, as always, early submission will be much appreciated.

Whether your bottle is half full or half empty, whether your gate to the future is half open or half closed, we wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

A fair degree of luck and goodwill will no doubt be required in the coming months. We can’t really help you on the former, but we shall do our best to spread the goodwill in the coming year.
