Slingsby Parish Environmental Group presents its second Give or Take Event.
Items can be dropped off on Saturday 18th Nov, 3-6pm, or from 9am on Sunday 19th Nov.
Refreshments will be available on Sunday.
The event cannot accept medium/large furniture and mains-powered electricals.

We understand the mobile post office will NOT be coming to Slingsby this Friday 3rd November 2023, as the van will be in for a service.
Castle Howard visitors can meet Freya Cox at a book signing in the Castle Howard Farm Shop on Tuesday 31st October.
Freya has collaborated with Castle Howard’s Head Chef, Nathan Richardson-Kelly, on three tasty treats across the year. The final cake in the 2023 series is a Double Chocolate Muffin with Toasted White Chocolate Marshmallows.
To celebrate the partnership, Freya will be visiting the Castle Howard Farm Shop on Tuesday 31st October from 1pm to 3pm, to sign copies of her recipe book Simply Vegan Baking and meet and greet Castle Howard visitors. Visitors can try a free Double Chocolate Muffin with Toasted White Chocolate Marshmallows with every Simply Vegan Baking purchase.
Ollie Varey is a fitness enthusiast (Varey Fit Personal Training and a Duty Manager at Derwent Swim and Fitness Centre) and has been raising money for the North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre (NYMTC) by undertaking a month-long exercise challenge during October.
Now he has just arranged a programme of fitness classes at Slingsby VIllage Hall.

There will be an All Souls’ service on Thursday, 2 November 2023 at 7.00pm in St Michael and All Angels, Barton le Street. All are welcome to come to this very special, quiet, reflective service where the names of those we love and miss from Slingsby will be read out. Please add any names you would like to be read out to the list at the back of church.
