A Christmas Cracker at Terrington

Saturday 8 December 2018, 7pm, Terrington Village Hall, YO60 6PZ

A cracking evening in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society
“Christmas Cracker – pull the other one!”
Terrington Choir and Friends, with Compère Dominic Goodwin

Carols, festive songs and some surprise items. There will be some refreshments and a raffle, and a bar run by the Village Hall.

Tickets £10 (family ticket £25) from Terrington Stores, Lesley Bradshaw 01653 648328, [email protected] or choir members.

Sally Backhouse, regional fund-raising support officer for the Alzheimer’s Society, said “We are delighted that Terrington Choir is planning to donate the profits from their Christmas Cracker towards our work. We urgently need funds for social activities, like Songs and Scones and Music Therapy in Ryedale, but also to give advice and support to families, and contribute to vital research into dementia.”
Terrington Choir is a mixed choir which meets weekly throughout the year in the village, attracting members from surrounding villages and Malton. Over the years it has raised thousands of pounds for local and national charities, but this year the overwhelming choice was the Alzheimer’s Society. We welcome friends old and new, to help to raise money for this worthwhile cause by enjoying a cracking start to Christmas.
