Jamie Walton, cellist and leading light of the North York Moors Festival, will be live on Radio 3, In Tune, around 5pm Wednesday 8th February. The NYM chamber music festival (12-25 August) now in its 4th year is establishing itself alongside the older and larger Ryedale Festival (13-29 July)

Signs seen at roadside Wednesday 1 Feb indicate that the anticipated (3 day) road closure between Slingsby (Wath) and Hovingham will now just be in operation on Thursday 2 Feb. Only time will tell…
