Carrmire Gate

Owing to major repair works scheduled on the Carrmire Gate (that’s the lower, more southerly of the two arches), the Castle Howard road is expected to be closed at that point between Monday 2 and Friday 13 October. Signs are in place at the Terrington/Coneysthorpe crossroad and the Bulmer/Welburn crossroad (and elsewhere).

We expect traffic from the A64 will be diverted via Ganthorpe and Terrington.

I have an antique wooden and iron trolley by Slingsby for sale which has been turned on its side and reclaimed wooden shelves added to make it a unique and beautiful piece of shelving furniture. The shelves are removable and so it could still be used as a trolley! It measures 77cm in depth, 80cm in width and 164cm in height. I am asking in the region of £280 but am open to offers.
