A Christmas Concert in All Saints’ Church Slingsby on Saturday 3rd December 2016 at 3.00 p.m.

Given by Terrington Village Choir. Come and enjoy an afternoon of Christmas songs and traditional carols, followed by tea/coffee and cake.

Pickering Church Wall Paintings lecture 16th November 2016

Wednesday 16th November 2016 at 7.30 pm in The Library, East Wing, Malton School, Middlecave Road, Malton. A lecture by our own Dr Kate Giles, senior lecturer in archaeology at the University of York, on the mediaeval wall paintings in Pickering Church. Kate is an expert on these paintings and will talk about her research. She will also explain what the current study and conservation project hopes to achieve.

The lecture is arranged by the Friends of Malton Museum. Admission is free to members, £3 to non-members.

Slingsby Ladies Group meeting 8th November 2016

Slingsby Ladies Group will meet in the Methodist Chapel schoolroom at 7.15 p.m. on Tuesday 8th November.
