Did YOU get your personal invitation to subscribe to your local email update service? If not, please read the following:

We invite you to subscribe to Slingsby’s very own email update service.

You may have read in the June Triangle that we are aiming to launch a secure email service (powered by the village website). Our purpose is to assist local groups in the parish who wish to send out email reminders and updates to residents. Local groups will be able to ask the website team to issue occasional emails to all residents who have subscribed to the service. The service is intended for the distribution of important information or reminders which are of interest to the wider community.

Your privacy will be respected. Your email address will not be displayed for others to see. Subscribers’ email details will be kept confidential and secure.

Once subscribed, you will receive occasional emails (moderated as appropriate by the website team). You will be able to unsubscribe at any time, if you wish.

To subscribe to this service, please follow the link below and simply submit your name and email address:

https://www.slingsbyvillage.co.uk/email-subscription/

We urge you to do this, to help support local community activity. Don’t miss out! Thank you!

[Remember, if you received our system email issued Friday 8 June, you are already subscribed. Thank you.]

If you have any queries about this service, please contact us at [email protected] or speak to Richard on 01653 628437.

Comment System Update

Here on the website we love getting feedback. It’s with that in mind that the comments system has been updated to include an integrated social media login option.

If you use Facebook or Twitter, you can now leave a comment on the village website by logging in using either of those social network accounts. It makes adding a comment on the website much simpler.

As always, all comments are moderated and you have just 31 days to say something about a post featured in the news/event section.
