Many wonderful old words have fallen into disuse and are crying out to be rediscovered! Slingsby Local History Group welcome a guest speaker from Malton Museum to introduce you to a few of them and tell you of their origins and uses over the centuries and their links to Malton’s history.
This promises to be an interesting and informative talk, covering language use, history and story-telling.
